The
Monique Bed has a unique combination of soft, curvaceous lines,
unusual scrolled finials and a dramatic round design. Best of all,
it has a fantastic textured silver rope of metal that drapes on
both the headboard and footboard. These silver necklaces connect
to the spindles, peaking at the top. A lovely hand-castled scroll
holds the ropes permanently in place. The rest of the Victorian-inspired
bed has wonderful details as well. The circle design ripples outward
with hand-poured castings linking each circumference. The cast feet
flare out, as do the prominent finials. This solid, purposeful bed
is very large to accommodate thicker mattresses.The Monique is finished
in a wonderful combination of Bronze/Silver. The Bronze covers the
tube with a soft mix of silver and gold creating a champagne look.
The Silver is accented on the castings, feet and twisted rope, then
covered with a black patina, added for depth. It is manufactured
in full, queen, and king sizes. The Monique is available as a headboard
only with all the tools required to attach it to your existing standard
sized metal bed frame. The king size headboard can be used with
an adaptable cal-king metal bed frame to work with any standard
cal-king sized mattresses.
