Leah
has one of those complex personalities. Just when you thought you
understood one characteristic, you find out about another. Leah
is traditional, yet eclectic. It has a standard, straightforward
four-poster frame, yet it boasts an intriguing candy cane twist
within the headboard and footboard. The footboard features an elegant
wraparound curve, which looks, like the footboard is hugging the
mattresses. This bowed footboard also making it much easier for
you to make the bed.Leah has numerous hand-poured castings throughout
the bed, as well as having solid cast feet. Scalloped castings link
all vertical lines with the horizontal. Two elaborate center scepters
pull the design to the next level. Lovely, egg-shaped finials finish
off the bed with traditional, vintage charm. Leah is available in
Heirloom Platinum -- sheer platinum, smooth plated finish. To complete
the “aged” look, a black patina is lightly, hand-applied
to give the castings much depth. This gives it a silky, one-of-a-kind
antique pewter appearance that shows off the rich, hand-cast details.
Basically, the Heirloom Platinum finish is silver with hints of
gold with a smooth finish. It is manufactured in full, queen, and
king sizes. The Leah is available as a headboard only with all the
tools required to attach it to your existing standard sized metal
bed frame. The king size headboard can be used with an adaptable
cal-king metal bed frame to work with any standard cal-king sized
mattresses.
